Dollar Storm introduced the concept of the Super Grand, and with it the Super Grand Chance ball. This new mechanic adds the ability to win a super-sized wide area progressive (one that’s shared across multiple casinos).
Even if you don’t win that massive progressive, landing a Super Grand Chance coin offers a minimum prize of $1,000, but could also award $1,500, $2,000 or $2,500.
But what are the chances to win one of those prizes, a player wonders?
On a Dollar Storm game like Egyptian Jewels, is it hard to get the Super Grand Chance? I have played these and have never had the Super Grand Chance come up on them. but I only play the dollar bet. Does the more you bet improve the chances of getting a Super Grand Chance?Ellen L.
Well first off, some of us in the BCSlots office, despite playing a lot of these type of games, are still awaiting our first Major, so we understand how you feel.
The pay table confirms that the Super Grand Chance chances (as it were) improves with your bet. So minimum betting $1 on the game gives you the lowest chances of getting it. Keep in mind the minimum you can win on that $1 bet is 1000x your bet with that $1,000 prize, vs. a minimum of 500x on the Minor, so it’s safe to assume it’s tougher than the minor to achieve.
It’s certainly, however, easier than the Grand, which is a guaranteed prize when you fill the board of a minimum of 10,000x your bet at $1 level, whereas the Super Grand is only a chance at the progressive and most often will be a smaller prize.
So if you’re looking at it in the realm of possibilities, it’s likely harder than the Minor and easier than the Grand to achieve, which is which to say probably pretty darned hard at minimum bet, but certainly not impossible – we’ve seen it happen!
