We’ve all seen it from time to time – a player playing multiple machines at the same time. It’s often frustrating if you’re hoping to play one of them, but what are the casino rules on this?
Do casinos allow a person to play 2-3 machines at the same time? Can you complain to management about it?

How come when the casino is busy they allow people to play 2 or 3 machines at a time? I was at Borgata and they only have 6 five dragons gold and 2 ladies were playing 6 machines. So annoying!

The precise rules will vary from casino to casino, but most casinos are fine with players playing multiple machines at the same time – it’s more revenue, after all – with the exception of busier times, where they ask players to stick to one machine.
Some casinos are more likely to look the other way when a higher tier player is doing it, while others don’t really police it at all, even when it’s in the rules. It often comes down to more of an etiquette question than anything else.

It seems like most of us are not multi-slot players – only 6 percent of fans polled on Brian Christopher’s YouTube page said they do it all the time, with another 30 percent saying they do it on occasion. 64 percent – nearly two thirds – never do it.
You’re absolutely welcome to complain and see if they’ll do anything for you about it in a given case. Similar to other topics like screen banging or chair tilting, some casinos will be more aggressive about it than others. It’s always a careful balance because the players they’re asking to change their behaviors are customers, too, and they don’t want to necessarily chase away customers, but at the same time if you’re frustrated, that runs the risk of chasing away a customer as well.
If it’s a busier time, you’re more likely to find a sympathetic ear from a slot attendant or a manager, but if it’s a quieter time at the casino with a lot of other machines open, we’re not sure much will happen. This is going to be one of those times where the outcome will be situational. But if it’s frustrating you, it’s always worth asking, in case they are indeed able to do something for you. And if not, at least you tried.
