This past summer, Brian Christopher launched his partnership with DraftKings Casino. This month Brian is back with the third installment of the live premiere series!
Once again, Brian finds himself playing at Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut, taking on a variety of games that you can find both on a casino floor and online.
While watching the video, you’ll see that sometimes Brian is playing the same titles along with identical bets, and other times he is playing a different bet size. This is because sometimes you can’t bet as high in a physical casino as you can while playing online.
For this live, Brian starts off playing one of his favorites, Quick Hit Link. For the physical version of the game, he started off by loading $1,000 into the machine, noting he will probably need more, because he is taking the game on at max bet – $80 a spin. He was right; Brian did need to reload, and more than once.
Thanks to some line hits, Brian was able to claw back some of his budget before launching into the online version of the game. For the digital version of the game, Brian decided to take on Quick Hit Link at a slightly bigger bet, $100 per spin.
Within just a few spins, the online version of the game takes an early lead thanks to a Quick Hit pay. With some big win confidence under his belt, Brian declared he wasn’t going to stop playing until he hit a bonus. Thankfully, Brian was once again right and he triggered a combination feature- Extra Spins and Rocket Spins. To see how the double pop bonus went, be sure to watch the video!
Next up, Brian made his way over to Ultimate Fire Link, deciding to play slightly different versions of the game side by side. Brian picked “China Street” on the casino floor and “Olvera Street” to play on DraftKings. For this game, Brian decided to play each version at $50 per spin.
He triggered the bonus on the digital version of the slot rather quickly. Not to be out done, the physical version of the game followed shortly behind. Both bonus features were the fire orbs, not the free games, be sure to watch the video to see how they compared!
For his third target of the video, Brian had his sights set on Prosperity Link. The digital version once again took the bonus crown first, offering up a “shakey shakey” on just the second spin. This gave Brian 10 free spins on a $35.20 bet. To give the physical game a chance, Brian decided to play more and as fate would have it, he got another shakey shakey, and once again it was Free Games. Watch the video to see how the $8.80 bonus stacks up against the bigger bet version online.
Round four brought Brian over to one of his all-time favorites, Wolf Run. He played the physical version of the game on a max bet of $30 per spin as an admitted warm up. While Brian wasn’t able to capture a bonus, he was able to get a pretty great line hit thanks to a couple full reels of wilds. After warming up, Brian was ready to take on the digital version of the game at a much larger bet – $120 per spin! On the digital version, Brian was able to capture the Free Games bonus rather quickly and launched into five free spins. Unlike his usual strategy of firing off a backup spin, Brian took his winnings and ran to the next machine. To see how the bonus played, be sure to watch the video!
For the grand finale of this third installment, Brian met up with some old piggy friends in Huff N’ Puff Even More Grand. On an admittedly hard game, Brian said he would try out $45 spins on the physical version of the title and $50 on the digital. The physical casino version of the game was not being very friendly, and Brian’s budget was decimated, so he turned to some online redemption. And redemption he had, as on the second spin, Brian was lucky enough to capture exactly six hard hats.
Press play on the video to see just how many retriggers and golden mansions he was treated to over the bonus feature. Brian wanted to see if his win on the digital version of the title would encourage the physical version to get its act together. He played a variety of bets to see if he could crack the timing. He did not.
