I always appreciate when you have questions, and so here’s answers to more of your questions! Feel free to submit yours for a future Q&A!
How much work goes into making it look easy? Gene H.
Each 30 minute video takes around 60 minutes to film (we show you everything we film, so this includes travel time, setup and selfies with fans in between games!). Then add on another hour or so for editing, another 30 minutes for setting it up online, and finally we follow all of your comments and respond back! So for every minute you watch, it takes us 4 minutes to produce I would imagine. That’s only the beginning when you consider organizing all of our travel, events, cruises and dolling it all up to look pretty! We have a great team that makes it all look so effortless!
I heard you say that you were fasting. What does that entail? Theresa H.
I try to fast about 14 hours a day. That means I don’t eat or drink anything (aside from water, black coffee or tea) during that time. I’ve found that it really helps my metabolism and I really don’t get hungry. In fact it gives me more energy!
Are you talkative IRL? Anita
Ya know, I have my moods where I am super quiet. Being in the spotlight all the time can be exhausting at times, so relaxing the voice and energy is really helpful. Around my friends, I’m always talkative and chiming in on conversations. I’m super opinionated, and love a good discussion or healthy debate!
What’s it like to be such a winner? Nicholas H.
We are all winners, and we are all winners in life. If you’re referring to gambling, well, I lose a lot more than I win – but those wins are extra special. If you mean in life, yes, I have been very successful. That said, I REALLY get jealous of my friends who work 9-5 jobs and come home to spend the evenings and weekends with their families. I often dreamed of living on a farm one day, haha. I feel like the life of a farmer with an early start, hard work on the farm, all while living with nature and animals, would be one of the most rewarding lives.
How does one get sponsored by online gaming apps? How does one create a YouTube gaming channel? Rebekah M.
It’s not something I seeked out to be honest. My YouTube channel was an acting channel until I posted some slot videos for fun that took off. I’ve always been someone who has strived for excellence and reached for the stars. Best advice for starting a YouTube channel – is to just start. Don’t put it off, and each day strive to do better and educate yourself on doing better. Take classes and watch videos online on how to film or edit better, and see how you can make your channel stand out from the rest. Once you get to a good level, the apps will come knocking! You could always message them on social to get yourself on the radar too!
After how many spins with no return do you just take the money and run? Roxanne P.
Great question. In fact someone just asked me this exact question at a meet and greet! Since every spin is unique and tied to a random number generator (RNG), every spin could be a loser if your timing is off. Stick to a budget of $5, $20 or $100 in a machine, and when it’s out, decide if you want to put more in or not. For me, it’s dependent on my attitude. If I’m getting angry or upset at a game, then it’s time to go for sure, as that’s the moment when you start making money mistakes!
Do you think you will ever go back to acting if ever given a shot? Marilyn J.
Also a question I was just asked! I would LOVE to get back to it one day. At the moment our schedule is just too busy (writing this on a plane right now!), so when I decide to slow down one day, then I’ll look into it once more. I wonder what style of show you could see me on!?
What does Brian do when he’s not gambling? Or going on cruises? Jaimi
To be honest, I do LOVE to gamble. Yesterday I filmed for 12 hours, and then relaxed by playing on BetMGM on my phone, haha. I actually ended up making up my losses from the day which was a bonus! Outside of the casino, I love spending time with Marco and my friends, connecting over drinks or a board games night, and traveling. I love visiting different parts of the world, exploring other cultures and food. And of course, a lot of our time is spent on designing our future home!
Can you tell us all, knowing all your stats win and losses which pays better from what company that makes these machines? Examples: Ainsworkth – Konami – Airstocrat – IGT – VGT – Light&Wonder ect? Kim H.
Honestly, I have no clue. I imagine they’re all about the same to be honest. A great question, but I have no clue. If you’re up to it, feel free to watch my videos and take a tally for me!
What’s your thought on the Rancho Mirage casino allowing smoking now? I know that was kind of your home casino. Zach
I am in shock, Talk about going backwards. I truly wish that casinos did better research on WHY their casino is failing. It has more to do with their offerings and atmosphere and poor management than it does about smoking policies. In fact studies show that even smokers prefer smokefree properties, and play longer! They made an uneducated guess here, and completely missed the mark. 87% of the US population are nonsmokers, and now 100% of the patrons AND STAFF are forced to breathe in toxic chemicals. They lost my business.
Two part question. 1. If you’re going to be on television, can we get you on uk television?, also does that mean we will see less of you in the casinos? Mark
I am super excited about our recent announcement on partnering with SportsGrid to put our content on TV! I am not sure if they have plans to put this outside of North America or not, but that would be awesome. As far as our online schedule is concerned, we usually alter it once or twice a year to fit our needs. Our last alteration was made to reflect the extra time it will take to film for them, but we have no plans to reduce our video count. So you just get MORE of us!
Line it up,
