Here’s another batch of your questions you had for me, and thanks again for submitting your questions!
I notice Brian and other YouTube slot channels mention the dislike of a hand pay. Why do they want to avoid that? Is it the time it takes to be paid by the casino and makes filming the video longer ? Christine N.
I don’t recall ever saying I dislike getting one, however if I win $1200 on the dot – ya that’s annoying. Last year I got over 900 jackpots. If it takes 10 minutes to get paid for each one, that is 150 hours, or 6.25 days of waiting for jackpots. So while it can be annoying and a time waste, I’ll gladly take the money.
You both always look happy and healthy. What do you do on days you’re not feeling well and are sick? Does one take over for that day? Janie M.
First off, as I write this, I’m sick right now, haha. I’ve been fighting a cold and cough for a month and due to the fact that I’m screaming on camera every day, I have no clue how to beat it! We definitely get our 8 hours of sleep and mostly eat healthy. I try to work out on travel as much as I can. But when you shake hands and meet hundreds of people a week, it’s unavoidable. Through it all, we are happy because we’re doing what we love and that makes it worth it and enjoyable.
As we all know you are from Ontario, Canada, do you get to play at Niagara, Ontario when you visit your parents? Or at Woodbine? Bert R.
When I come to visit family, I usually spend my time with just them and not bring in the casino world. That said, I have visited Niagara a ton and hope to make it to the new casino in Toronto this Summer!
Can you give us your thoughts on the players that “button slap” and “screen tap”? Bob B.
There is a special place in my heart for them…a very cold and dark place, haha. It actually depends on my mood. Some days I just want them to watch my videos to learn how slots work. Other times I find it humorous to watch. But the slapping is just plain old loud, obnoxious and rude. It achieves nothing except to annoy your neighbors!
Congratulations on your success at your business of slot play… but, if someone asked you to do a movie or a TV series (acting) would you give it all up for a chance at stardom? Donna
This is all the stardom I need. I can’t imagine how life must be for celebrities in public. I get all the attention I need while in a casino. That said, do you have a script? haha
Would you rather have your handpays counted out in your hand, or just placed in your hands with the W2, or self pay if available? Wayne D.
Because I get a hundred handpays a month, I prefer self pay when available. It’s fast and convenient and I can keep playing and filming. We lose too much time otherwise. If they don’t have self pay, then placing it in my hands with the W2 is preferred.
How can you legally gamble at a casino that you are affiliated with? Most casinos don’t allow people who are employed or vendors to gamble at the property. Joel
I am not an employee at any casinos. I am simply sponsored by them to promote the casino. They are not providing me gambling funds at all as I use my own cash to gamble with, so nothing improper there.
When you do your group pulls, do you use your players card, do the people do their player’s card or do you use no players card? Jason C.
The casinos strictly enforce that I use my players card. If guests cards were used, then they would be forced to pay the taxes. So by using my card, I pay the taxes on any taxable jackpots. The biggest misconception by some, is that I use my card to gain points for my own consumption. While I do gain points on the card, they are useless to me as I already get everything covered for me while on property. I’m one of the biggest gamblers in the casino already, so they take good care of me.
Line it up,
