Dreamy Genie is part of a set of games by Bragg Studios that originated with online formats and made their way to casino floors via IGT. With a wheel front and center, you have the opportunity to enhance your spin or get other valuable opportunities free games or jackpot bonuses – the wheel does a lot of the heavy lifting here, and is a unique format to bring all these pieces together.
Let’s take a look at the game, and we’ll also share where you can play this right now online with real money.
Base Game
Dreamy Genie is a 4×5 reel set with an all ways pays structure – instead of lines, there’s 1,024 ways to win, with payouts occurring when symbols appear on consecutive reels, starting from the left. Minimum bets on this game is 50 cents.
With clumped symbols showing multiples of the same symbols on the reels, you can build a significant win if enough appear in winning combinations.
The game features 12 total pay table symbols, six premium and six poker symbols. There’s also a wild lamp symbol that appears in the middle three reels. There’s no bonus symbols to speak of here, as the wheel handles all of that, and it’s linked to the wild lamps.
Four jackpots exist on this game, which are awarded in the Bonus feature. The prizes change proportionally with bet, unlike the version in physical casinos which are progressives.
Wheel Feature Game
The wheel feature is triggered automatically if you get three wilds on the middle three reels. It can trigger randomly when you have one or two wilds land on a spin.
In the wheel feature there are a number of wedge types, all offering value to the player:
- Credit Prize: You’re automatically awarded a credit prize in addition to any line hits.
- Win Multiplier: Whatever you win on the reels is multiplied by the win multiplier
- + Wild Lamps: An additional number of wild lamps are added to the reels to improve your win.
- Bonus: A card picking feature lets you win one of four jackpots. Like most predetermined picking features, three matching jackpots awards that prize.
- Free Games: Wedges with varying amount of free games appear.
Free Games
When you trigger free games on the wheel, you are awarded the number of free spins found on the wedge that lands. The biggest change is that all wild lamps now trigger a wheel spin during the bonus. All of the wedge types remain, meaning the wheel can yield a bonus retrigger with more spins.
Buy a Bonus
This game features a buy a bonus opportunity valued at 80x your bet level. With it you are guaranteed 10 free games, but it is possible to secure 15, 20, 25, 50 or 100 free games. All the same benefits as landing Free Games naturally on the wheel are found here.
