Sometimes slots are crazy simple. Other times there’s just so much to take in initially to figure out how it works. Fatstacks Miami Cash by White Hat Gaming is the latter – instant wins, symbols combining, all ways pays, six reels… There’s a lot to unpack, but we’ve got you covered.
Here’s a closer look at the slot and where you can play it for cash.
Fatstacks Miami Cash Base Game
This is a 6×4 reel all ways pays game that starts at 4,096 ways to win. We say starts though because one of the unique features of this slot is that when two of the same symbol appear on a reel, they’ll combine, up to three in total, opening up space for other symbols and increasing the chances something can line up.
Line up those double or triple and it’s like getting 2 or 3 ways to win for that space instead of 1, increasing the total ways to win. If that were enough, once you line up symbols to win, they disappear and other symbols cascade in, opening the chance for more combining symbols or base game wins.
All the combining into fatstacks happens before wins are evaluated, so even if a win is already showing, it will continue combining symbols in case that win is improved. It can also do all the combining and still yield nothing, creating motion that’s interesting but not yielding wins. And a lot of the wins are small, so a lot of movement can yield a false win.
There’s nine pay table symbols here, enough to allow symbols to get in the way of each other. The top paying symbol, the diamond, pays in combinations of 2+, with everything else requiring 3+. There’s also wild symbols, which help bring together some wins, and luxpots, scatter symbols that pay at the end of the spin, awarding a tier based on the number collected, with three being the minimum to win a prize, and 10 being the top prize.
Bonuses are won through the luxpots too, with a Bonus Chance luxpots opening the door to a bonus opportunity.
Luxpots Modifiers
One additional element is that some modifier symbols can appear. After completing their modification, they turn into luxpots, so they do not cascade away, and one of each upgrade is possible per base spin or free spin. They are:
- Shuffle: The prize ladder is shuffled to increase your prize.
- Upgrade: The prize ladder is upgraded, with a new top prize established for 10 luxpots. It also reduces by one the number of luxpots needed to trigger the bonus.
- Transform: One or more symbols can be transformed into luxpots.
Others are only available as part of the free spins bonus:
- Merge: Two adjacent rungs on the ladder are combined, adopting the higher award between the two, and allowing either amount of luxpots to award that prize. This can only be awarded once per free spin session.
- Platinum Upgrade: At the onset of the bonus, the Platinum Upgrade can be unlocked, increasing the prize ladder for the entirety of the free spins bonus.
Free Spins Bonus
The free spins bonus can be triggered with the right minimum number of luxpots Bonus Symbols and regular luxpots symbols:
- One luxpots bonus symbol and six luxpots symbols
- Two luxpots bonus symbols and four luxpots symbols
- Three luxpots bonus symbols and two luxpots symbols
- Four luxpots bonus symbols
A picking screen with 25 spaces opens up. The first three of a kind you collect will be the number of free spins you get. The Platinum Upgrade is also (two within the picking screen) available to help boost your prize ladder for the luxpots collected during the free spins.
Then your free spins occur, with the upgrades and fatstacks symbol combination still occurring as they do in the base game.
