As we’ve shared here throughout the year, the Super Wheelmania Link series of games offers a fun twist on a traditional hold and respin bonus with the addition of a wheel, which can be spun when the Super Wheelmania Link symbol lands.
The Colossal Cats version takes advantage of that, plus offers stacked wilds for chances at bigger line hits! And it has its own unique wrinkle with double symbols. Let’s look at Colossal Cats, along with how you can play it right now on the free Lobstermania Slots app!
Base Game
Like the rest of the Super Wheelmania Link series, Colossal Cats is a 5×3 reel set with 50 lines. There are five royal symbols and four premium symbols, but in a twist, they come in single and double symbol versions, increasing the payouts when more double symbols appear in a line hit.
In addition to the base game symbols, there’s stacked wild symbols on reels 2-5, which can be very helpful in connecting symbols for line hits. And finally, there’s the Super Wheelmania Link orbs, which are available to win when triggering the Super Wheelmania Link bonus.
As with other Super Wheelmania link themes, there’s four jackpots on offer. Two (the Mini and Minor) are flat jackpots that increase proportionally with your bet. The other two (the Major and Grand) are progressives that are the same at all bet levels, so higher bets increase your chances of winning them. To be eligible to play for them, you must bet high enough to unlock them.
Free Games Bonus
Three or more Bonus symbols trigger the free games bonus. The more symbols you land, the more games you get:
- 3 Bonus symbols: 8 free games
- 4 Bonus symbols: 12 free games
- 5 Bonus symbols: 16 free games
During the Free Games Bonus, you can retrigger for more games with the same awards as listed above. You can also trigger the Super Wheelmania Link bonus during the free games.
Super Wheelmania Link Bonus
Six or more orbs landing on any single spin will trigger the Super Wheelmania Link bonus. On the surface, it’s a traditional hold and respin bonus, with three spins awarded to try to land more orbs. If you succeed in landing another within the three spins, the counter resets back to three.
The bonus ends whenever you either fill the entire 15 spaces on the reels with orbs, in which you are awarded the Grand jackpot along with the prizes on the orbs, or go three spins without landing another orb.
The extra twist here is that there are not only credit prizes and jackpots on offer on the orbs, but there’s also the Super Wheelmania Link symbol. For each one of those that you land in the bonus, you get a spin of the wheel to determine your prize. The wheel features all for jackpots as well as credit prizes. The wheel is often a helpful booster to your overall bonus total.
