Casino players are always looking for an advantage. For the most part, there isn’t one to find. Here’s an example:
Is it better to put a bunch of bills “feed the machine” or a single bill or ticket? Does it make a difference in winning?

Any method will be fine, so it’s really up to you. Whether it’s cash, a ticket or free play, small bills or large bills, or even the new cashless gaming systems casinos are slowly rolling out over time, slots don’t handle any of these options any differently. Over the long run, it will all roughly fall to around the same payback percentage.
Casinos get to choose the payback of each slot on their casino floor, but there’s only one setting per denomination per game – there’s no individual settings for tickets, cash or free play. That means regardless of how you add money, the slot will have the same payback as any other method.
That’s good news for us as players, simply because you can rest easier knowing it won’t make a difference, similar to how using your players card or not doesn’t make a difference.
More important to the experience will be what type of player you are. If you’re a bigger bettor, maybe using bigger bills or getting larger tickets is just easier than navigating the feeding of 20s into a slot. Conversely, smaller bettors may purposely want to use smaller bills, just so they can avoid putting too much cash into one machine and hopefully not overstay their welcome on a machine that’s not being too generous.
But those decisions are more around budget management and not so much your chances of winning, which won’t be affected regardless of decision. So you can take the direction that makes the most sense for you, and can focus on enjoying the slot game itself and not have to worry about whether you made the right decision.
