Sometimes players have relatively simple questions that linger around. Here’s one we got from a player around Dragon Link/Dragon Cash:
On Dragon Cash, what’s the highest ball you can drop? Is it based off your bet? For example, can you drop a $12,500 ball on a $5 bet?Melissa
Dragon Cash and Dragon Link do have a set of rules for the hold and spin as to what the credit prizes can be. It is indeed based off your bet, and the largest ball that can appear as a credit prize is 250x your bet.
With that, on a $5 bet, the top prize that can appear is $1,250. That means that a $12,500 ball can’t appear on a $5 bet.
Another interesting wrinkle about the game is that only one can appear. Between the Major, the 250x ball, and a 200x ball possibility that also exists, only one out of those three can appear in a hold and spin at all – so you can’t get three $1,250 balls on a $5 bet. (The rules about big prizes vary slightly between the game siblings, but are pretty similar overall.)
In case anyone was wondering, the other credit prize ball sizes for Dragon Cash and Dragon Link are 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 50x and 100x.
The credit prizes are separate from the balls with words; Minis and Minors can come out multiple times, the Major, as noted above, can only come out once (or not at all if that 200x or 250x ball arrives), and the Grand can’t appear on a ball at all, just be won randomly on a spin without a hold and spin trigger, or if you get all 15 spaces filled.
So now you know how much you can top out at in terms of the prizes that can appear on the screen, based on what your bet amount is! And remember that even though you can only get one of those big prizes, there are plenty of other prizes that can fill other spaces on the screen, driving up that total win!
